To me a photograph tells a story, here I share stories of the days I capture with you. These personal stories are shared with the kind permission of my clients.

Angela and Stuart's Loch Lomond WEDDING

My heart goes a little faster when you hear that a wedding is beside the water, even more so if it is on a Loch. Stuart and Angela told me they were getting married at Loch Lomond Outdoor Centre at the north end of Loch Lomond, I never imagined an outdoor centre could be such an amazing and beautiful location for a wedding but Angela's artistic skills, coupled with a lovely building and beautiful scenery made it absolutely stunning. A wedding beside a Loch on the west coast of Scotland is unlikely to be the sunniest affair and the rain did make its predictable appearance but in the end it just added to the beauty of the location and added to the atmosphere of the day.

The wedding party were staying at the Ardlui Hotel next door to the outdoor centre. The day began with Angela and her bridesmaids getting ready and designing their own beautiful pomander style bouquets and then getting a boat from the hotel to the venue. Arriving in style on the jetty and making their way up the beautiful decked aisle to the centre where Stuart was waiting in a room adorned with Angela's beautiful up-cycled furniture pieces and gorgeous floristry. The humanist ceremony incorporated the beautiful sounds of 'The Coaltown Daisies' and the reception went on into the evening with people enjoying the gorgeous surroundings.

Angela and Stuarts outfits suited the occasion perfectly. Angela wore a La Sposa gown called Sencasion and Vivienne Westwood, Mellissa shoes. Stuart wore a custom made Weathered Forbes jacket and waistcoat paired with Paul Smith brogues. The bridesmaids pretty song bird fabric dresses came from Get Cutie.
