Photography Stories, Edinburgh Wedding Photographer
Where I tell the story of the photographs I capture. Whether it be equine photoshoots, family photoshoots or wedding photoshoots.
Nikki and Ian met at school when they were 5 years old and decades later they secretly eloped to South Queensferry for their wedding. From our initial conversation I could hear how passionate Nikki was to marry Ian and to have their wedding in South Queensferry, a place which she just loves.
As adults we often say “It’s too wet to go out today” but as Billy Connolly said, “There’s no such thing as bad weather, there’s just the wrong clothes”. These puddle jumping 3 year olds really prove that you can have a lot of fun in the rain!
The idea of a family photo shoot made Nicola nervous at first. A studio shoot wouldn’t have worked with Harrison’s autism but the outdoor relaxed photo shoot worked perfectly.
Kate and Sean chose the beautiful St. Andrews for their engagement photo shoot. We explored the stunning beach as the sun set.
This wedding had a Austrian hammer game, a bouncy castle, giant Jenga and it was set at one of the newest and most beautiful Scottish wedding venues.
Peter described the moment he saw Lynne walking up the aisle, he said it felt like someone was grabbing him from behind and pulling him up. He felt overwhelmed and he just wanted to go back on the roller coaster and do it again and again.
The highlights from Kate and Sean’s vintage themed Forbes of Kingennie Wedding.
Gaye and Richard’s cute DIY home wedding was held at Richard’s mum’s home in Edinburgh. It was full of personality and DIY details.
This newborn photo shoot in Dunfermline was to catch some cute images of baby Naomi while she was still in that sleepy newborn phase.
A scottish beach wedding is not an easy thing to plan but Louise and Andy were determined to get married on Portobello Beach whatever the weather. Louise and Andy love the Portobello area and their flat's amazing views over the coastline and river. For them getting married on the beach was like getting married in their garden.

Alternative graduation photography in Edinburgh and around Scotland, opt for something different, choose to have photographs that tell the story of where you lived whilst at university. Much more exciting than the traditional white background graduation photographs!

This family wedding made me cry as a surprise guest arrived during the ceremony.
