Romantic Getaway To Edinburgh
To celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary, Amy & Andrew booked a romantic getaway to Edinburgh and booked in for a photoshoot to help them make the most of their adventure.
To celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary, Amy & Andrew booked a romantic getaway to Edinburgh and booked in for a photoshoot to help them make the most of their adventure.
Amy told me how her and Andrew love the historic architecture of Edinburgh so we planned a walk around Edinburgh to take in the Vennel with its outstanding view of Edinburgh Castle, the colourful shops on Victoria Street, the Royal Mile and we made a plan to finish with the vistas of Carlton Hill at sunset.
Their visit was at the end of May. May is my favourite month in Scotland, we have super long days and it feels like the sunniest month, I’m not sure if it is but I have the most sunny memories from May adventures. It’s also a great time to visit Scotland as it is quieter and if you’re going to the Highlands, the midges haven’t taken over.
The evening shoot worked perfectly for Amy & Andrew, visiting for Ohio they were continuing onto London by sleeper that evening so after a lovely sunny evening walk they were ready to go and get their sleeper and have a relaxed journey to London.
